Land Clearing and Grubbing

Land Clearing and Grubbing in Bentonville

A wooded or overgrown parcel has to be opened before any grading begins. Consultoriainnova removes trees, brush, and undergrowth, then grubs the stumps and roots out below the surface so they cannot rot and leave voids under a future pad. Cleared material is either mulched on site or hauled off, depending on what the lot allows and what you prefer. The finished ground is left clean and ready to shape.

Why Grubbing Below Grade Matters

Cutting trees at the surface is only half the job. Roots and buried stumps left in place decompose over the years and create soft pockets that settle unevenly under a slab or driveway. We pull them with an excavator so the subgrade is uniform. On the Ozark Plateau ground around Benton County, that also means dealing with the occasional rock shelf, which we plan for before the machines arrive.

Our Process

We walk the lot, mark the clearing limits, and place the 811 locate before any digging. Trees and brush come down and out, stumps are grubbed, and good topsoil is stripped and stockpiled for final grade. Silt fence and erosion controls go in early to meet the stormwater permit on sites disturbing an acre or more, keeping runoff out of the storm system near Walton Boulevard.
